- Title: Director of Nursing (Hospice)
- Location: Laredo, TX • On-site & field-based (shifts office-heavy as census grows)
- Pay: $90,000–$100,000 base
- Schedule: 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Own hospice nursing ops and shape care quality as census expands.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor hospice nursing staff
- Ensure compliance with hospice regulations
- Partner with Executive Director on care quality and growth
- Oversee on-call model and staffing coverage
- Build a culture of accountability and compassion
Must-Haves
- Active RN license in Texas
- 1+ year hospice experience (required)
- 2+ years managing nurses (required)
- Reliable transportation to complete field visits (as a backup)
- Willingness to join or oversee on-call rotation
Nice to Have
- Prior Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing in hospice, home health, or other Post Acute setting.
- ER or ICU background transitioning to hospice
