Job Title: IT Administrator
Location: Atlanta, GA
Pay Rate: $60-65k
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Administrator to manage and support our organization’s technology infrastructure, software, and security needs. This role will provide day-to-day IT support, oversee system administration, manage assets, and ensure smooth operation of hardware, software, and network resources across the company. The ideal candidate will be proactive, service-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple technological platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Office 365 & Collaboration Tools
- Create and manage Office 365 accounts, including email setup and E3 license assignment
- Manage Teams groups, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket, etc. accounts and permissions
- Keep SharePoint and Kite updated with the latest documents and organizational information
- Coordinate with an external IT service provider to provide timely assistance.
Security
- Manage VPN access and security onboarding for new employees
- Administer security awareness training and track completion
- Support ongoing security compliance initiatives and monitoring
Asset Management
- Set up and configure computers for new employees, including shipping, returns, and hardware tracking
- Manage procurement, upgrades, and troubleshooting of IT assets (computers, peripherals, mobile devices)
- Maintain accurate asset inventory and ensure timely replacements or repairs
Hardware & Office Support
- Maintain and support employee workstations (keyboards, monitors, docking stations, phones, etc.)
- Support conference room hardware and connectivity
- Manage cell phone orders, upgrades, and service plans
- Oversee internet service for Atlanta and Dallas offices
Software & Licensing
- Manage software licenses for Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Snowflake, Adobe, Figma, and Salesforce, etc.
- Ensure compliance with software usage and licensing agreements
Cloud Administration
- Support internal and client requests for AWS and Azure cloud resources
- Assist with provisioning, access management, and troubleshooting cloud services
Policy & Compliance
- Maintain and update IT and security policies (e.g., Information Security, AI Policy)
- Communicate policy changes to employees and track adoption across the organization
Qualifications
- 2+ years of IT administration or system administration experience
- Bachelor’s in information technology, computer science, or cybersecurity (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
- Experience with VPNs, security tools, and user onboarding processes
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure environments
