General Summary and Purpose:
Victory Income Investors (VINC) is looking for an intern in fixed income for the summer of 2026!VINC is a large and rapidly growing fixed income house focusing on active management through in-depth fundamental analysis of the creditworthiness of the securities it purchases.An internship at VINC is a unique opportunity to learn about and participate in this credit research process with the VINC team.The internship is envisioned to be eight weeks in length and to take place during summer 2026.There is some flexibility on the exact starting date.The intern would report to one of the Directors of Research.The successful candidate will be expected to commit to being on-site in the office five days per work week and any and all re-location and housing expenses will be borne by the candidate.
You Will:
·Gain exposure to one or more of the Corporate, Municipal or Structured Product asset classes·Receive the mentorship of one or more senior analysts in one or more specific asset classes·Interact with and have the chance to learn from all members of the team, including portfolio managers and traders·Research and present a comprehensive review on a chosen credit, with your recommendation, to portfolio managers and Directors of Research.This project will be the culmination of the internship and represents the opportunity to showcase what has been learned over its course
You Have:
·A passion for learning fundamental credit analysis in an investment management setting·Strong written and oral communication skills·A willingness to “dig” for information, an innate curiosity as to what distinguishes better investments from those less so, and are a motivated self-starter·Familiarity with Bloomberg and substantial knowledge of Microsoft Office applications would be a plus
Target Compensation:
The target base salary for this position is $4,800 for the entirety of the internship, paid biweekly
