We’re looking for a dynamic Area Lead to join our Zambia team. You’ll play a key role in empowering and supporting our agents on the ground, helping them succeed while expanding Mukuru’s presence across the Copperbelt region.
What You’ll Do
As the Area Lead, you’ll be the heartbeat of Mukuru’s operations in your area — supporting, coaching, and leading our agent network to deliver exceptional results.You will:
- Oversee agent performance and regional sales targets.
- Support, motivate, and guide team leaders and field agents to achieve growth goals.
- Scout, evaluate, and launch new agent locations and booths.
- Build strong relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
- Ensure agents are properly trained, compliant, and equipped to deliver outstanding service.
- Manage marketing materials and ensure brand visibility across your region.
- Act as Mukuru’s “eyes and ears” on the ground — sharing insights, challenges, and new business opportunities.
- Prepare and submit weekly reports on performance, costs, and regional updates.
What You’ll Bring
- Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
- Sales Diploma or related qualification (Essential)
- 1+ year in sales, agent management, or financial services
- Knowledge of money transfer processes and FIA regulations
- Fluency in English and Chichewa (or another local language)
- Basic to intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
