Junior Technical Editor at Dynamis, Inc.

Dynamis is seeking a Junior Technical Editor to support a government client. This position is a remote/hybrid opportunity based in the Huntsville, AL area and requires 25% travel.

Responsibilities:

Advising and assisting authors during the writing stage;
Examining the organization, length, and tone of the material;
Editing the text for grammar, clarity, syntax, format, style, and 508 compliance;
Consulting on design and graphics;
Monitoring, managing, and forwarding emails for the program's shared email box;
Ensuring that documents meet client requirements and guidelines; and
Assisting in the preparation of material for printing.

Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability
BA or BS degree, preferably in English or Journalism
0-3 years of experience conducting technical writing/editing
Experience with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
Must be able to work on multiple taskers concurrently
Experience working with style guides preferred
