Overview:The 1916 Company is seeking a data entry specialist to join our team in one of the following locations: Cherry Creek (Denver CO), Pikesville (Baltimore MD), orBala Cynwyd (Philadelphia PA). The ideal candidate will be responsible for inputting, updating and maintaining data in an accurate and efficient manner. Exhibiting a keen eye for detail while working in a fast-paced environment.General Purpose: Employees are accountable for all duties of this job. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- SKU creation and purchase order generation.
- Accurately input and update various data sets.
- Review and verify data for accuracy and consistency.
- Identify, report and correct data related errors.
- Follow data entry procedures and standards.
- Assist with pricing updates.
- Assist with inter store transfers.
- Assist with return to vendors.
- Generate sales and on hand reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications: Knowledge, Skill & Ability
- Proficiency in business English, including spelling, grammar, and professional communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) is preferred.
- Basic photo editing skills (e.g., cropping, resizing, optimizing images for web) is a plus
- Strong typing skills with accuracy and efficiency.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify and correct errors.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintainpositive relationships with vendors and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks efficiently.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintainingaccuracy and focus.
- Keen attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Education or Formal Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
- Previous data entry experience is preferred.
- Previous experience with jewelry and watches is preferred.
Material and Equipment Directly Used:
- NetSuite ERP and Office 365
Working Environment/Physical Activities:
- Ability to move between workstations as needed.
- Requires reaching, handling, and precise manual dexterity when distributing purchasing-related materials.
- Effective verbal communication, active listening, and information exchange are essential for successfully performing these duties.
- Must be able to accurately and efficiently compare data, perform computations, draft and review documents, compile and analyze information, coordinate tasks, and communicate effectively with others.
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional behavior are essential for success in this role.
