Wasserman seeks an Associate Account Director to guide the social footprints for on of our global tech accounts. Your day-to-day work will be strategic in nature, developing initiatives and providing creative, practical solutions to client issues. You will devise engagement strategies, approve content and manage scopes, deliverables and campaigns to ensure that all parties stay true to the strategic vision and voice across channels 24/7, 365. If you’re a natural at managing large teams and have experience working with international partners in other time zones, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing, maintaining, and growing the relationship with the client and key stakeholders
- Direct and have a positive impact on projects, teams and clients by providing direction and a vision to follow
- Maintaining a superior relationship with all departments in the agency and understands the strategic goals of the account
- Management and mentorship of junior staff members, including many Social Media Managers of varying levels and junior account team members
- Communicating with the Group Account Director and senior leadership about account status while proactively finding solutions to issues that may arise
- Ability to command a room during key client presentations including executive stakeholders
- Able to think on your feet, pivot when needed, and adapt to the ever-changing needs of a highly visible, global brand at the center of social conversation and culture
- Proven ability to manage high-volume content pipelines across multiple social accounts and platforms
- Expert in juggling overlapping deadlines and shifting priorities in fast-paced environments
- Strong organizational systems to track content workflows, reviews, and stakeholder approvals
- Skilled at aligning cross-functional teams to deliver on time without sacrificing quality
- Experience leading simultaneous campaigns while maintaining strategic oversight and executional detail
- Comfortable making quick decisions and pivoting strategies to meet changing client or market demands
- An analytical mind able to understand, guide, and provide opinions on social data in collaboration with the Analytics team on recurring and ad hoc reporting needs
- Adept at identifying bottlenecks and optimizing processes for scalable content production
- Calm under pressure; thrives in deadline-driven environments with competing priorities
- Experience developing and writing staffing plans and scopes of work for additional projects throughout the year
- Confident communicator who keeps clients and internal teams aligned through complexity.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in digital/social account management
- Experience implementing social media, digital and integrated marketing campaigns
- Natural leadership abilities
- Detail focused with strong communication skills: persuasive, strategic, proactive, diplomatic
- Experience managing and mentoring large teams
- A demonstrated passion for and superb understanding of the social media landscape
- Ability to forge strong relationships with clients as well as internal stakeholders
- Uncanny attention to detail
- Rockstar presentation skills
- Commitment to excellence — working nonstandard hours when necessary, anticipating issues and communicating with diplomacy, identifying emerging platforms and trends to drive innovation

Base salary range: $90-120K, plus bonus potential if applicable for role.Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
