UTEX is seeking a Rubber Machine Operator to safely and efficiently operate machinery to process rubber materials for downstream production.
This role is essential to maintaining our high-quality standards and ensuring on-time production.
What You’ll Do:
As a Rubber Machine Operator Your responsibilities will include:
- Operate process equipment including mills, extruders, calenders, barwells, and friction towers
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Accurately input production data into the MRP system
- Perform product quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications
- Use measuring and inspection tools
- Support preventative maintenance and housekeeping standards
- Follow all PPE, health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Work closely with supervisors and other team members to meet production goals
- Support internal and external audits
- Operate forklifts (certification required or provided)
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to use measuring tools and basic computer programs
- Basic math, computer, and communication skills
- Comfortable with physical tasks like bending, climbing, and kneeling
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow safety protocols
- Preferred: Forklift experience
Work Environment:
You’ll work in both manufacturing and office environments, using tools and equipment daily. PPE and steel-toed footwear are required.
Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday.Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
