We are committed to improving patient health outcomes by offering a pharmacist-managed medication care program, comprehensive therapeutic monitoring and dependable home delivery of prescription drugs.This position is primarily responsible for managing the prescription fulfillment process from within the pharmacy. This position serves as a link between patient, physician and pharmacy by performing the following duties.The Fulfillment Pharmacist I is responsible for dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, supporting pharmacy technicians, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Dispense and verify prescriptions in line with organizational policies and legal requirements.
- Oversee technician-prepared items and provide guidance.
- Serve as a resource for medication-related inquiries from patients and healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, standards, and accreditation guidelines.
- Perform administrative tasks and provide team support as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of two years in retail or mail-order pharmacy; 340B knowledge is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Pharmacy with an active state license.
- Skills: Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines is required.
