Job Description
As a part of the Engineering Department, the GenAI Engineer will be our go-to expert for Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies. You’ll design and deploy intelligent tools, automate workflows, and help transform how our engineers work every day. This role blends hands-on technical work with mentorship and innovation; making GenAI practical, scalable, and business-ready.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of GenAI-powered engineering solutions that enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
- Develop and deploy custom AI tools and agentic workflows, integrating them with existing platforms and business systems.
- Collaborate with engineering leaders to identify automation and digital transformation opportunities using AI.
- Mentor engineers and designers, building AI fluency and hands-on skills across teams.
- Provide technical support and training to ensure successful adoption of GenAI tools.
- Work closely with the GM of Engineering on technology priorities, workforce development, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Partner with IT & AI Enablement teams to align solutions with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.
- Stay ahead of emerging AI trends and evaluate new tools and frameworks that can bring measurable value to engineering operations.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience implementing GenAI or LLM-based solutions in an engineering or technical setting.
- Strong understanding of engineering workflows, manufacturing systems, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Proficiency in Python, APIs, and system integration for AI applications.
- Experience with prompt engineering, agent development, and workflow automation.
- Ability to translate complex AI concepts into practical, business-focused solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to train, influence, and inspire diverse technical teams.
- Passion for emerging technologies and a proactive approach to learning and experimentation.
- Bonus: experience with context engineering, AI governance, or regulated industries (e.g., pharma, food, manufacturing).
