SmartLogic is a custom web and mobile application consultancy with 20 years of experience building scalable, reliable, and mission-driven software. Our marketing focus is on generating Sales Accepted Leads (SALs) by aligning campaigns with our Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs).To support three integrated campaigns in Q4 2025, SmartLogic seeks a contract marketing designer for a pilot engagement. The goal is to test working relationship, quality, and campaign impact with the option to transition to a retainer in 2026.The primary goal is to design persona-driven marketing assets that generate SALs by:
- Turning campaign copy into visually compelling, on-brand deliverables.
- Designing landing pages that communicate pain points, outcomes, and CTAs.
- Creating polished decks and sales enablement collateral for internal and external use.
- Producing ad creative optimized for LinkedIn, display, and other digital channels.
Deliverables may include:
- Case study one-pagers (2–3 per campaign)
- Landing page designs (1 per campaign)
- Ad creative variations (3–5 per campaign)
- Visual assets for blogs and newsletters (as needed)
What we’ll provide you:
- Messaging Matrices (We market to mid-sized nonprofits and Series A/B SaaS companies; campaigns will align with these ICPs)
- Brand Messaging Playbook, Style Guide & Accessible Color Palette
- Case Study & Capabilities Templates
- Campaign Briefs with ICP definitions, personas, proof points, and event strategies
- Copy assets developed by SmartLogic’s freelance writer
- Access to SmartLogic Marketing Lead and other staff for content reviews and revisions
Requirements
Deliverable standards (more is defined in our brand and messaging playbooks):
- Tone & Style: Clear, professional, and aligned with SmartLogic brand guidelines
- Persona Alignment: Assets tailored to personas defined by SmartLogic
- Format: Editable design files (Figma, Canva, Google Slides as appropriate)
- Attribution: Work-for-hire, all IP owned by SmartLogic
Evaluation criteria / what we’re looking for:
- Experience designing for B2B SaaS and/or nonprofit/mission-driven campaigns
- Strong portfolio with examples of one-pagers, decks, landing pages, and ads
- Ability to translate copy into visually compelling, brand-aligned assets
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design best practices
- Collaborative, iterative design process with copywriters and marketers
Benefits
- Rate: please let us know your hourly rate
- Cap: not to exceed 40 hours per month without prior written approval
- Payment Terms: invoiced weekly, every two weeks, or once monthly as you prefer. Invoices due Net 15.
- Retainer Consideration: If the Q4 pilot is successful, we will discuss shifting to a monthly retainer structure beginning January 2026. Retainer scope will be based on deliverables (e.g., one-pagers, ads, decks) rather than hours, to support predictable planning and ongoing partnership.
