Financial Analyst
Job Location: Hybrid - Candidate must be within commuting distance of Ft. Meade, MD. On-Site at HQ DISA Ft Meade two days per weekPosition Type: Full-Time/Regular
- enGenius Consulting Group Inc is looking for a seasoned Financial Analyst to provide support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). This support includes, but is not limited to:
- Independently review and prepare funding packages for appropriated funds (O&M, Procurement and RDT&E) as well as Defense Working Capital Funding using IE Financial Tracking System and FAMIS.
- Develop and maintain annual spend plans.
- Analyze, summarize, and identify trends and issues relating to budget execution and prepare variance analyses.
- Evaluate funding guidance and resource levels for adequacy in supporting program mission and objectives.
- Review and assess impact of changes in both functional and financial regulations, policies, and guidance.
- Consult management on budget strategies and techniques and use of financial management products.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Active SECRET security clearance required.
- Minimum 4 years of financial management experience
- Minimum 2 years of DoD financial management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Additional Qualifications (Desired):
- Working knowledge of DOD PPBE processes, with emphasis on execution functions and funding packages for Appropriated and Defense Working Capital Funds.
- Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) and FAMIS experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in financial field
