About the team and role
Professional Services Team, Global Fraud Solutions
We provide our solutions on a global scale by address both existing and new clients' business and technical objectives with a full solution showcase. Importantly we consistently put the customer first and by doing so we focus on providing high quality customer service, this delivers improvements to the customer’s journey, which will generate enhanced profitability. The team is responsible for providing professional services to address business objectives in the areas of risk prevention and fraud detection.
To offer state-of-the-art software solutions and provide comprehensive client delivery and consulting support using our expertise and flexible, client-focused approach.
Technical Analyst
The role of Technical Analyst will be to contribute to the successful deployment of GBG products and consulting for high customer satisfaction with existing customers.The role will involve end-to-end implementation of GBG fraud products in client environments, from understanding and building business knowledge of the existing GBG products to execute the delivery and installation of these products. A key part of the role will be ensuring our solutions are delivered to high standards of innovation, quality and excellence that delight our customers.
What you will do
Technical Consultation
- Work closely with our clients to deliver world class fraud and risk GBG solutions.
- This may consist of responding to customer queries, providing consultancy on correct usage of the system, liaising with different business and technical teams for issue follow up, identifying and suggesting best practice improvements.
Configuration, training, and documentation
- Work closely with our clients and internal team members to document technical requirements, specification documents, provide technical training and to configure business related rules and other solution functionality.
- This may also consist of responding to customer queries.
Technical Support
- Technical product delivery support during different stages of the project. Provide installation and go live support for the customer.
Skills we’re looking for
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in technical analysis or IT solution implementation within an Information Technology environment
- Experience in software solution onsite implementation and system integration
- Familiar with SQL Server database applications, including basic performance tuning (Database design would be an advantage)
- Familiar with API technologies including JSON, REST, and SOAP
- Experience with testing tools such as Postman and JMeter
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking concepts, and SSL certificate management
- Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies and solutions, including:
- Windows Server and its components (e.g., IIS)
- SQL Server
- .NET Framework
- Web applications and services
- Windows applications and services
- Basic understanding of solution architecture, network structure design, and hardware components
- Experience in system implementation projects, preferably within financial services, fraud risk management, or compliance areas
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical project teams and business stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
Advantageous Skills
- Experience in Jenkins pipeline development
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Alicloud
