Business Development Associate role is responsible for finding and driving sales leads. While also increasing sales by recommending new site offerings to existing customers. You will be responsible for increasing the customer base and influencing cross-functional teams to eliminate barriers to sales success. Overall, focused on driving new customers and maintaining current. This role is also responsible for interfacing with multiple people and departments internally to help prevent and resolve customer problems. You will analyze sales statistics, and business needs to provide recommendations to customers and stakeholders. Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:


• Drive Strategic Outreach: Proactively identify, prioritize, and initiate outreach to CROs, Pharma, Biotech, MedTech, Physician Practices, and Healthcare Institutions to strategically expand ClinEdge’s site network and partnership opportunities.• Advanced Lead Qualification: Conduct deeper needs assessments to align prospects with appropriate clinical trial opportunities, providing strategic recommendations to optimize site feasibility and study success.• Key Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers within healthcare and life science organizations to strengthen ClinEdge’s market presence.• Revenue Growth Leadership: Consistently achieve and surpass monthly and quarterly revenue and pipeline growth targets, playing a key role in shaping ClinEdge’s business development strategy.• CRM & Data Insights: Leverage Salesforce and other CRM tools to track complex sales cycles, analyze data trends, forecast performance, and deliver actionable insights to leadership.• Territory Strategy Execution: Develop and implement targeted marketing and sales programs that drive measurable growth within assigned territories or accounts.• Pipeline Management & Forecasting: Define, track, and report on pipeline health and deal progression, providing visibility and recommendations to senior management.• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with outside sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure maximum market coverage and seamless handoffs from business development to project initiation.• Inbound Request Management: Lead the timely prioritization and strategic response to inbound leads and RFPs, ensuring high conversion rates and customer satisfaction.• Account Ownership: Oversee relationship management for a defined book of business, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring long-term partnership growth.• Market Intelligence: Monitor and interpret industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to refine outreach strategies and identify new business opportunities.• Industry Representation: Represent ClinEdge at conferences, trade shows, and industry forums, positioning the company as a trusted partner and thought leader in clinical trial site solutions.• Client Experience Stewardship: Coordinate internally to ensure smooth project transitions, resolve escalations when needed, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention.• Special Projects & Leadership: Take initiative on special business development projects, mentoring junior associates when appropriate, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts across the team.• Other duties as assigned.

 QUALIFICATIONS:


• Exceptional Communication Skills: Proven ability to articulate complex clinical research and business concepts clearly, persuasively, and confidently to stakeholders and decision-makers.• Strategic, Customer-Centric Mindset: Skilled at uncovering client needs, developing tailored solutions, and building trusted partnerships that drive long-term business growth.• Proven Track Record of Success: Demonstrated history of exceeding revenue targets, expanding key accounts, and contributing to organizational growth through strategic business development.• CRM & Data Proficiency: Advanced experience with Salesforce and other sales enablement tools to manage complex pipelines, analyze trends, and produce actionable insights for leadership.• Collaborative Influencer: Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, align internal stakeholders (Operations, Feasibility, Marketing) around shared goals, and foster a culture of collaboration.• Organizational Leadership: Skilled at managing competing priorities, setting timelines, and ensuring accountability across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, evolving environment.• Solution-Oriented Problem Solver: Adept at diagnosing challenges, identifying process inefficiencies, and recommending strategic improvements that enhance client experience and sales performance.• Industry Expertise: Solid knowledge of clinical research, pharmaceutical, and MedTech markets, including applicable regulations, industry trends, and site-network operations.• Business Acumen & Curiosity: Naturally inquisitive, with a passion for continuous learning and the ability to stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities.• Professional Presence & Client Relationship Management: Comfortable representing the organization at industry events, engaging with clients, and serving as a trusted advisor to key accounts.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Science is preferred.

If not then comparable years of experience.• 4+ years of proven experience in site account management/sales or a similar role, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
