Vix Technology is a leader in offering transit riders worldwide a better experience through seamless and cashless travel. Many transit agencies and hundreds of thousands of their passengers depend on Vix Technology systems for daily public transit.We are hiring someone to assist with the card fulfillment process for the Valley Metro transit system. As a contractor with Valley Metro, we handle ordering, customizing, and fulfilling media orders. This role involves managing inventory and receiving orders, as well as personalizing fare media.
You will fulfill orders from the online system, package the media for shipment, and prepare shipping documents.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive incoming inventory, inspecting for quality, quantity, and accuracy of serial numbers.
- Organize inventory by type and serial number, utilizing space efficiently.
- Have working knowledge of all Fare Programs fare media requirements.
- Receive and fulfill orders promptly and efficiently from the online system.
- Personalize fare media.
· Perform quality checks on all ordered fare media for accuracy and ensure they are in sequence.· Create shipping paperwork for outbound deliveries.
- Prepare and pack shipments.
- Provide tracking information to agency once shipped.
Requirements
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in order fulfillment and packing.
- Familiarity with inventory management and experience with computer systems.
- Strong reading and critical thinking skills.
- Previous experience in order fulfillment, inventory, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with fulfillment software is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Physically able to lift up to 35 lbs.
