The VP of Sales will play a key role in expanding the reach of our forensic research. This individual will be responsible for driving business growth, promoting our research offerings, and serving as a strategic link between our analysts and the investment community.
- With support from a Business Development Rep (BDR) develop relationships with prospects (largely hedge funds, mutual funds, asset managers, and other institutional firms) to continually build pipeline
- Promote and sell forensic research products, analyst access, and custom research engagements
- Achieve new sales quota
- Collaborate with research analysts to understand and communicate key research and actionable recommendations
- Identify and communicate client focus and needs to support alignment of research offerings with investment strategies
- Maintain data in Salesforce to ensure transparency and accurate forecasting and reporting
- Organize client meetings and analyst road shows
- Stay abreast of relevant financial markets
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in institutional sales- holding direct quota
- Previous experience selling research to institutional investors (previous experience with forensic accounting research highly preferred)
- Understanding financial markets
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to translate complex issues into investment-relevant insights
