TopBloc is seeking a

Director of Marketing


to lead our marketing strategy, brand positioning, and communications. This role will be responsible for driving awareness, demand generation, and thought leadership for TopBloc across the Workday ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on marketing leader who can build scalable programs while maintaining creativity and agility.This leader will oversee all aspects of marketing and communications, including brand strategy, content development, digital campaigns, events, and public relations.

They will collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Experience, and Executive Leadership to position TopBloc as the best value Workday partner and drive measurable impact on revenue growth.

Requirements (What We’re Looking For):


  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Required)
  • Proven experience developing and executing B2B marketing strategies in professional services, SaaS, or enterprise software (Required)
  • Experience in the Workday ecosystem (Preferred)
  • Strong background in demand generation, brand management, and communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to align marketing initiatives with business and revenue goals.
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable leading both strategy and execution in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing and scaling teams and/or agencies.

Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):


Marketing Strategy & Leadership


  • Define and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aligned with company growth goals.
  • Serve as a key voice of the brand, ensuring consistency and differentiation in all messaging.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team (internal and external resources).

Brand & Communications


  • Oversee brand positioning and messaging across all channels.
  • Manage internal and external communications, including executive communications, press releases, and media relations.
  • Partner with leadership on thought leadership initiatives, including speaking engagements, webinars, and industry events.

Demand Generation & Campaigns


  • Build integrated marketing campaigns to generate leads, accelerate pipeline, and support customer expansion.
  • Own digital marketing channels (website, email, social media, paid advertising, SEO/SEM).
  • Partner with Sales on account-based marketing (ABM) and sales enablement resources.

Events & Partnerships


  • Lead TopBloc’s presence at Workday Rising, Altitude, DevCon, and other industry events.
  • Manage co-marketing opportunities with partners to extend reach and engagement.
  • Execute in field customer events, webinars, and activations to strengthen relationships and brand visibility.

Content & Thought Leadership


  • Develop and oversee content strategy, including blogs, case studies, white papers, and video.
  • Showcase customer success stories and promote TopBloc’s differentiated value.
  • Ensure all marketing materials are compelling, professional, and aligned with business objectives.

Analytics & Reporting


  • Track, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing programs.
  • Use data to continuously optimize spend, messaging, and targeting.
  • Establish KPIs tied to pipeline contribution, brand awareness, and engagement.

Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

At TopBloc, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current hiring range salary is $125,000 - $175,000.
