What we’re looking for:
Nexamp is seeking to bring on a Menta Performance Partner for a 6 month+ engagement, with the possibility of extension. The scope combines high-impact executive performance coaching with targeted leadership development, supporting Nexamp’s senior leaders to think clearly, decide decisively, and model the composure, discipline, and unity that inspire confidence across the organization. You will partner with leaders to drive peak performance, unlock leadership potential, and operationalize culture and growth mindset frameworks.
You will deliver targeted coaching for high-stakes situations such as major policy shifts, financing deadlines, board dynamics, and acquisitions; leverage behavioral assessment tools like Predictive Index (or similar) to enhance self-awareness, improve team dynamics, and anticipate performance stress points; and embed high-performance habits, foster growth mindsets, and reinforce a “First Team” culture.We are living through a pivotal moment for clean energy and for Nexamp. What you’ll do:
- Deliver 1:1 high-impact coaching (2x/month) to VP+ leaders, focusing on decision-making under pressure, emotional regulation, and role-modeling leadership behaviors that inspire trust and drive action.
- Facilitate monthly 'First Team' alignment sessions to strengthen trust, break down silos, and ensure unified decision-making at the top.
- Integrate Predictive Index (or similar) insights into leader playbooks, anticipating stress scenarios and equipping leaders with proactive strategies.
- Be the boots on the ground during high-stakes moments.
- Lead post-event debriefs and quarterly recalibration sessions to capture lessons learned and sustain momentum toward leadership culture goals.
- Collaborate closely with People Team to ensure leadership development directly fuels Nexamp’s business priorities.
- Oversee targeted leadership assessments and deliver interventional coaching to unlock potential, address critical challenges, and propel teams to extraordinary results.
- Design and deliver individual and group coaching sessions that operationalize Nexamp’s culture, growth mindset, and high-performance leadership frameworks.
What you’ll bring:
- 10+ years of executive coaching experience with VP+ leaders in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Proven success in performance acceleration and leadership interventions.
- Deep knowledge of psychology and its application to leadership success.
- Strong relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills.
- Master’s or Doctorate in Performance Psychology, Counseling, or related field required.
- Familiarity with Predictive Index or other behavioral assessment tools.
- Experience working in fast-paced, mission-driven environments.
- Commitment to Nexamp's mission and have a passion for solving tomorrow's climate crisis today.
- Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
- Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization. We value accountability and an ownership mentality.
- Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
- Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.
- Eagerness to develop a fundamental understanding of how Nexamp operates and then apply that knowledge effectively to inform business decisions.
