Our team is driven by our core values of innovation, integrity, enjoyment, and family.Join us and be part of a team that’s transforming the finance industry and empowering businesses to thrive!Position Description:The Software Sales Account Executive at iBusiness Funding reports to the Director of Software Sales and works with Product, Marketing, Sales, Development and Legal team members on the conception and execution of the partner strategy for iBusiness Funding’s technology and services ecosystem.The role is heavily focused on relationship building.
The Account Executive will lead both new partner acquisition with a focus on commercial terms and condition negotiation as well as maintaining solid, ongoing relationships within the partner portfolio.Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Logo Hunting and Selling to Banks and Financial Institutions
- Leading the iBusiness Funding Partner Strategy
- Work with iBusiness Funding Leadership, Product, Marketing, Sales and Development teams to strengthen the multi-year strategy for partnership capabilities and revenues
- Build the strategy for iBusiness Funding’s future across our product offerings
- Regularly attend industry conferences, networking events, and other trade shows
- Continuously improve the business case process for new partner acquisition
- Manage the Partnership Process
- Manage and maintain the overall partner program in operation today by sustaining and improving existing relationships
- Collaborate with cross-functional iBusiness Funding teams to achieve partner revenue goals
- Define and negotiate commercial terms and conditions with new partners and for contractual renewals with existing partners
- Partner with internal Legal department to complete new partner reviews
- Collaborate with internal teams at iBusiness Funding to ensure any day-to-day issues are resolved
- Coordinate partner roadmap sessions on a regular basis to ensure alignment with iBusiness Funding Strategy
- Provide oversight over partner P&L results and annual forecasting process
- Build consensus and enthusiasm among stakeholders at all levels
- Be committed to the strategy, product, team, and business position
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 2+ years experience in a selling software to banks with financial, lending or core banking software a big plus
- Expertise in product lifecycle management and product roadmap methodologies and processes
- Experience with in-person conference networking and marketing
- Creative, strategic, analytical, and outside-of-the-box problem solver
- Expertise in Microsoft solutions suites (MS Office, Teams)
- Ability to lead partner-related meetings with diverse audiences, including, but not limited to, Marketing, Product, Development, Sales, Legal, Finance, Executive Leadership, and external stakeholders
- Experience in working with C-Suite Execs from large U.S. based Banks
- Experience with financial services industry, especially in lending
