Qualification, Experience and Competencies
• Grade 12• Must be a Qualified Artisan, Mechanic in relevant trade e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Mechanic or relevant mechanical engineering qualification• 3-year post apprentice/learnership experience • Machine general technical knowledge and applied skills, Applicable product knowledge• Basic financial acumen, influencing and negotiating• Technical report writing skill, Customer responsiveness• Organisational awareness, Attention to detail• computer literate (MS Office, SIS ET and SAP/CRM – warranty role• Problem solving and failure analysis skill• Sound understanding of Warranty policies & procedures and communication skills• Willing to work overtime
