POSITION AND LOCATION
The Design & Project Associate (US Licensed Architect) will report directly to the Executive Managing Director, Asset Management. This is a remote role based in the Philippines, and the selected candidate will be expected to work during U.S. Pacific business hours to ensure alignment with the U.S.-based team.
DUTIES
- Tenant-Centric Design & Leasing Support:
- Prepare tenant improvement schematic floor plans as required by prospect tenants.
- Create renderings for building exterior and interior improvements.
- Prepare tenant improvement design and/or develop a set of drawings for permit.
- Prepare basic structural construction details.
- Collaborate closely with tenants to ensure their spaces align with brand standards, functionality, and visual appeal.
- Establish and maintain design standards to ensure consistency across multiple locations.
- Transform existing pdf/jpg floor plans/site plans/designs into working CAD documents.
- Facilitate a smooth and efficient tenant improvement process.
- Provide additional support to the leasing team as needed.
- Project Management & Cost Efficiency:
- Oversee budgeting, contractor negotiations, and cost-effective solutions to maintain project efficiency.
- Assist the Construction Team in monitoring project timelines and budgets.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing construction invoices, purchase requests, and orders.
- Invoice Processing & Contractor Coordination:
- Review and process construction invoices, ensuring alignment with budget monitoring and work progress reports.
- Negotiate with contractors and vendors to process purchase requests, orders, and sales invoices.
- Collaborate with Construction and Finance teams to ensure transaction accuracy and timeliness.
- Graphic Design & Branding:
- Create visually appealing presentations, marketing materials, and reports
- Support branding efforts through high-quality graphic design work.
- Assist in updating and maintaining the Company website’s design as requested.
- Team Building & Event Organization:
- Organize team-building activities and major company events to foster connections and engagement.
- Develop initiatives to keep employees connected in remote and hybrid work setups.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required.
- Must be a Licensed Architect in at least one U.S. state (active license required).
- 7-10 years of full-time work experience.
- Strong knowledge of technical documentation, including permit sets, construction drawings, and code compliance.
- Familiarity with U.S. building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes.
- Strong skills in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver.
- Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
