Position: Temporary Linen Distributor

Schedule: Full-Time (Hours and length of position, TBD)


We are currently hiring a Temporary Linen Distributor to support our Arthur Blank location. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, quick-thinking, and has strong communication skills. If you're ready to contribute to a high-performance team, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:


  • Deliver clean linen in covered carts to designated hospital areas.
  • Collect and transport soiled linen in covered carts to designated return areas.
  • Verify linen quantities for delivery accuracy.
  • Conduct linen inventory as needed.
  • Address and resolve client concerns professionally.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding service or quality issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all institutional procedures and safety protocols.
  • Operate equipment and perform tasks essential to daily operations.
  • Complete basic clerical tasks such as answering phones and data entry.
  • Comply with Joint Commission standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in healthcare, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Capable of pushing/pulling carts weighing up to 400 lbs.
  • Willingness to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Open to feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
