Responsibilities


  • Report directly to the Supervisor of Communications to ensure that operational activities related to company policies and procedures are followed. 
  • Enter alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into the computer following format displayed on screen and enter necessary code to mail merge communications to members and physicians. 
  • Organize and monitor client communications to ensure the correct cover letter and lab report are delivered. 
  • Read incoming correspondence and gather data for program communications.
  • Review and approve new and updated client communications.
  • Provide communication and follow up to ensure team members are fully informed of all new information related to programs, procedures, customer needs and company related issues, changes or actions.
  • Keep track of received data and outgoing communication source documents.
  • Prepare and sort source documents and identify and interpret data to be entered in a timely manner that complies with SLAs.
  • Contact preparers of source data to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
  • File requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and keeps updated records for supervisor’s review. 
  • Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities and completing mandatory training. 
  • Taking on other tasks or projects to support employees, other managers, and call center operations.

Who You Are / Job Requirements


  • Education: Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience: 1-2 years of related experience
  • Healthcare experience is a plus

Skills & Abilities Required


  • Proficiency with necessary technology, including computers, software applications, phone systems, etc.
  • Familiar with company products, services, and policies.
  • 45+WPM
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure, especially during peak hours or intense situations.
