Overview:
The Catering Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the catering department. This role ensures the accurate management of client orders, invoicing, and event details through Catertrax, while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting the overall success of catering operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all catering orders and event details in Catertrax, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing professional and responsive communication.
- Generate and distribute invoices; track payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Collaborate with catering managers and culinary teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Maintain detailed records of contracts, client communications, and billing information.
- Provide general administrative support, including menu updates, scheduling assistance, and event documentation.
Qualifications:
- Prior administrative or hospitality experience required; catering background preferred.
- Proficiency in Catertrax or similar catering/event management software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with invoicing and basic financial processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
