About the Role
We’re looking for a founding Account Executive to lead enterprise sales for the world's first superhuman Excel agent: Shortcut. You’ll partner closely with our Chief Business Officer and GTM team to manage high-impact customer relationships, close strategic deals, and lay the foundation for a scalable sales function. We are a small, fast moving team. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves building relationships, and brings a builder’s mindset to process and pipeline.
What you'll do
- Own enterprise sales cycles, building and landing relationships with the world's most sophisticated institutions, investment banks, hedge funds, and Fortune 500 finance teams
- Refine Shortcut’s sales playbook, pipeline strategy, pricing, objection handling, contracting, etc
- Provide insight to our engineering team, translating customer needs into product direction
- Build strategies + drive growth and retention through renewals, expansions, and upsells
Qualifications
- Proven track record closing deals and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or growth equity, with direct exposure to deal execution and financial modeling
- Deep understanding of core finance workflows
- Early-stage experience: you’ve built or scaled sales processes from 0 → 1
- Strong relationship instincts and the ability to earn trust quickly
- Excitement for AI and its potential to transform the financial industry
