Full-timeDescriptionDo you love crafting stories that connect with people and bring brands to life? We’re looking for a creative and versatile Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our team. This role blends copywriting, digital marketing, and project management to help us reach new audiences and strengthen community relationships for the work we do in public media, journalism, and education.
What You’ll Do:
- Write, edit, and produce engaging content for newsletters, websites, social media, press releases, and marketing materials.
- Plan and manage both paid and organic digital campaigns across social, TV, FM, email, and more.
- Represent the organization at select events to support PR and community engagement.
- Appear in authentic social media content, helping to bring our brand voice to life.
- Use project management tools to coordinate campaigns, deadlines, and deliverables across teams.
- Manage the production of our monthly On-WITF Guide and other key marketing initiatives.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, PR, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital advertising.
- Strong writing skills and proven ability to adapt copy for multiple platforms and audiences.
- Experience with paid social media campaigns and digital marketing.
- Organized multitasker with project management experience (familiarity with Monday.com a plus).
- Comfortable on camera and willing to occasionally work evenings/weekends for events.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive — a team player who thrives in a creative environment.
