MBL Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Data Analyst to support a federal contract. This role is ideal for a data-driven cybersecurity professional with strong analytical and dashboarding capabilities, who can translate complex data into actionable insights for executive-level decision-making.
Key Responsibilities/Skills/Experience
- Analyze data from multiple disparate sources to provide cybersecurity and privacy insights.
- Design, implement, and maintain workflow processes and executive-level dashboards.
- Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) related to cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance.
- Build and maintain dashboards using ServiceNow and Power BI.
- Support internal and external cybersecurity audits by compiling data and tracking corrective actions
- Assemble data metrics to support compliance with FISMA, NIST, and OMB requirements.
- Use data visualization tools to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop briefings and deliver findings to program leadership.
- Manage tasks and drive process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
- Extensive experience working with ServiceNow and Power BI.
- Advanced degree in technical or cyber-related field (or equivalent experience/certifications).
- Strong knowledge of FISMA, OMB, and other federal directives.
- Strong knowledge with cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management processes.
- Strong knowledge of network security methodologies and protocols.
- Experience analyzing large data files and automating manual tasks.
- Experience with fetching and processing remote data.
- Experience with developing data standards, policies, and procedures.
- Experience with creating strategic insights from large datasets.
- Experience with providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Certification in User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI).
- Prior experience working in federal cybersecurity environments.
- Familiarity with compliance reporting and audit support.
- Ability to assess data validity and provide recommendations based on findings.
