Human Resources Manager to lead our team in Mexico. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in developing a vibrant workplace culture, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and providing expert guidance to our leaders and employees. You’ll be a trusted expert, fostering engagement and helping our team thrive.
What You'll Do
- Provide Expert HR Guidance: Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for leaders and employees on a range of HR matters, including performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
- Drive Employee Engagement: Execute initiatives that boost morale and foster a positive work environment, driving a culture of connection and inclusion.
- Ensure Legal Compliance: Act as a subject matter expert on Mexican labor law, including federal labor law (Ley Federal del Trabajo), contracts, employment regulations, and specific standards like NOM-035.
- Manage Core HR Functions: Lead and mentor HR professionals on day-to-day HR responsibilities, including talent acquisition, payroll, benefits administration, and performance review cycles.
- Oversee Investigations & Risk Mitigation: Conduct thorough internal investigations, analyze data to identify trends, and implement action plans to address and mitigate risk.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a significant portion dedicated to managing HR functions in Mexico.
- Proven expertise in Mexican labor law and its practical application.
- Demonstrated experience in executing employee engagement initiatives and managing day-to-day HR operations.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
- The ability to analyze data and trends to inform decisions.
- The highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
