ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced and
driven
Trailer Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and repair skills across a wide range of trailer systems including brakes, suspension, air, electrical, bodywork, and liftgates. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose, service, and repair trailers of all makes and models
- Perform inspections and preventative maintenance
- Complete brake jobs, lighting repairs, air system troubleshooting, and body repairs (side panels, doors, roofs, flooring, etc.)
- Conduct structural and cosmetic trailer body repairs including welding, panel replacement, and alignment
- Maintain accurate repair documentation and follow safety protocols (including hot work permit)
- Collaborate with service team to ensure on-time completion of work orders
- Maintain consistent attendance to ensure work orders are completed as committed too (to the customer)
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3+ years trailer experience (fleet or dealership preferred)
- Strong knowledge of air brake systems, ABS, suspension, electrical, and trailer body structures
- Welding/Fabrication experience highly preferred
- Own your own tools a plus (but not required)
- Positive, Team-Focused Attitude
- CDL is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
