Job Summary


The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and staff supervision. This role ensures that all warehouse activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and industry standards. The Warehouse Supervisor leads by example, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities


  • Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse employees, including assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in shipping, receiving, order picking, and inventory management.
  • Oversee proper use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment; ensure all safety protocols are followed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Service teams to meet customer deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Manage and monitor inventory control processes, including cycle counts and reconciliations.
  • Assist in scheduling deliveries, pickups, and freight coordination with carriers.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and implement best practices.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce all company safety policies.
  • Prepare and maintain warehouse performance reports and KPIs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in logistics, business, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving processes.
  • Forklift certification highly preferred (or ability to obtain).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/WMS systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying warehouse environments.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check (including MVR)

Work Environment


  • Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, heavy equipment, and loud noise.
  • PPE required and provided.
