Job Purpose:
The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction. This role ensures that client needs are met, issues are resolved promptly, and long-term partnerships are fostered, contributing to the overall success and profitability of the company.
Job Duties:
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with assigned clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
- Account Strategy & Planning: Understand client business objectives and tailor strategies to help meet their needs, aligning solutions with their goals and growth plans.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services, and work toward meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve client concerns, coordinating with internal teams to troubleshoot and provide timely solutions.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze account performance metrics, preparing reports and presenting findings and recommendations to clients and management.
- Contract Negotiations & Renewals: Negotiate contract terms, manage renewals, and ensure agreements are executed in accordance with company policies and client expectations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and customer service teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Market & Industry Insight: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to proactively address client needs and provide valuable guidance.
Job Requirements:
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to clearly articulate value propositions and address client concerns.
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to build trust, rapport, and long-term relationships with clients.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot issues, propose solutions, and navigate complex situations efficiently.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management and attention to detail to handle multiple accounts, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite to track performance, generate reports, and present findings.
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing priorities, client demands, and market conditions.
- Experience: At least three years' experience in an Outside or Inside Sales role, directly selling to customers or maintaining accounts.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
