VuMedi is seeking a Business Development Associate to join our Revenue department, where the BD team has grown 200% in the past two years. We’re looking for a commercially minded professional who will partner closely with a US-based salesperson to grow account presence and uncover new opportunities in the pharmaceutical market. As part of a company experiencing exponential growth, you will not only execute outreach but also apply judgment, insight, and business maturity to shape how we expand into priority markets.

What you’ll do:
- Conduct in-depth market research by analyzing market news, company updates, and financial/industry sources to identify and prioritize leads within target companies.
- Map and profile key executives across divisions, enabling targeted and strategic outreach.
- Design and execute outbound campaigns to engage senior decision-makers and secure meetings.
- Partner with Sales to shape account strategy, tailoring outreach to business context and market dynamics.
- Support sales cycles with high-impact pre-sales deliverables (custom decks, analytics, proposals) that influence senior stakeholders.
- Own opportunity tracking in Salesforce, ensuring pipeline visibility, accuracy, and actionable insights.
Who you are:
- You bring 3+ years of experience in business development, commercial strategy, or market research roles, ideally within pharma or life sciences.
- You have developed strong business acumen and maturity, with an understanding of how commercial drivers, product lifecycles, and market forces shape opportunities.
- You can synthesize complex data into clear insights and translate them into practical recommendations.
- You are fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments, balancing multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
- You are self-driven and eager to learn about new healthcare technologies and evolving market trends.
- You are a proficient user of MS Office and Google tools. Experience in Salesforce is nice to have.
- You have a friendly and approachable demeanor that supports effective collaboration.

The base salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skills and scope required, unique relevant experience and job-related skills.Cash salary is but one component of our compensation package. It’s inclusive of base salary, education budget, free meals allowance, work from an alternative workplace allowance, occasional awards - Christmas bonus, and an annual bonus.
