The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for the coordination and completion of projects.
Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. Responsible for the overall project performance. Leads strategic planning, budgeting, and staffing efforts in response to task requirements. Formulates, communicates, and enforces quality work standards. Monitors progress and resolves any identified issues affecting successful product/service delivery. Ensures compliance with all administrative and contractual requirements. Serves as primary point-of-contact with government contract and program management staff for reporting project status.
Responsible for assigning contractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor personnel and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates. The project manager labor category in this order is considered essential. This person will provide direction and oversight for the entire project. This consultant will work in coordination with the COR and technical lead to manage the contract. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- PMP certification
- 10+ years of experience
