📍 Location: Midtown Manhattan, NYC💼 Industry: Property Management💰 Salary: $95,000 – $105,000 (DOE) + potential of 15% bonus, generous benefits, PTO🕒 Schedule: Full-time | Onsite | Monday–FridayAbout the RoleOur client, a well-established property management company based in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Section 8 Housing Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance across a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties.This onsite role is ideal for a compliance professional with in-depth knowledge of New York City building regulations, who can manage agency relationships and ensure all properties meet the highest standards of safety and legal compliance.Key Responsibilities
- Manage and enforce a comprehensive compliance program aligned with NYC regulatory requirements.
- Conduct routine property audits and inspections to ensure adherence to DOB, FDNY, HPD, DSNY, DOH, DOT, and other city agency codes.
- Serve as the primary liaison with NYC regulatory agencies for inspections, filings, permits, and violation resolution.
- Collaborate with property managers, maintenance staff, and contractors to execute corrective actions and maintain compliance.
- Monitor changes in city regulations and update internal policies accordingly.
- Maintain documentation of all compliance activities and train internal teams on best practices.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in compliance or regulatory affairs, preferably in NYC property management.
- Strong working knowledge of NYC agency regulations (DOB, FDNY, HPD, DSNY, DOH, DOT, etc.).
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities across different properties.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Industry certifications such as ARM® or CPM® are a plus.
