Senior Procurement Manager
to spearhead the development of strategic partnerships and establish a robust procurement framework to support the company's ambitious European and USA expansion. The ideal candidate will be a key player in scaling Nomagic's operations from 50 to 500 robotic station implementations annually.This pivotal role will involve shaping the company's procurement strategy from the ground up, with a focus on forging alliances with large-scale suppliers and integrator companies capable of developing and deploying Nomagic's cutting-edge robotic solutions.
The Senior Procurement Manager will also be responsible for enhancing and developing procurement-related processes across the organization, including the implementation of an ERP system and warehouse management protocols.We are on a mission to teach robots the real world, and we're looking for a leader who can build a world-class supply chain to help us achieve that. Some of the problems you may try to solve with us:
- Strategy and Scaling: Collaborate with top-level management to develop and execute a procurement strategy that enables the scaling of robotic station deployments from 50 to 500 units per year.
- Strategic Sourcing and Partnerships: Develop and execute strategies for identifying and securing partnerships with key suppliers, including integrator companies, to support the widespread implementation of Nomagic's robotic solutions around the world.
- Process Development and Improvement: Design and implement agile and scalable procurement processes, including the implementation of a company-wide ERP system and the establishment of efficient warehouse management practices.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of suppliers, from commercial parts vendors to complex robotic solutions providers, ensuring quality and reliability.
- Cost Management and Optimization: Analyze procurement costs, identify opportunities for savings, and ensure alignment with the company's budgetary goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and other teams to align procurement activities with product development, project timelines, and overall company objectives.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that procured materials and components meet company quality standards and engineering specifications.
- Purchasing Operations: Participate in purchasing planning and operations to ensure flawless robot deployments on our road to scale.
What skills we’d like you to have:
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in a procurement role within a technology-focused environment, preferably with a manufacturer of special machines, a robotics company, or in sourcing for complex, customized solutions.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies hand in hand with company management. ERP system implementation and warehouse management are strong pluses.
- A strong track record of negotiating and managing relationships with large-scale suppliers and strategic partners.
- Knowledge of automation and robotics-related industry markets, practices, and products.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with fluency in English.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment and a passion for building processes from the ground up.
