By providing our suppliers and customers with streamlined services, they are able to focus on their core business.Tricon is seeking a Operations Analyst - Charter Party Agreements in Mumbai. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Review all vessel fixtures (pre & post fixtures) with view to get competitive freight & mitigate operational risk
  • Review all Charter party agreements and provide comments prior to fixing the vessel. Work closely with ship brokers and the Tricon commercial team to ensure that the charter party is optimal for the Company.
  • Look at all operational matters relating to the vessel, which includes cleanliness / acceptability, port performance to mitigate demurrage, quality , timing & other risk
  • Coordinate with brokers / owners to ensure competitive & timely freight.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with ship brokers, owners, and internal commercial teams.
  • Capacity to provide insightful comments on charter party agreements and work collaboratively to optimize vessel fixtures.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate vessel fixtures and charter party agreements for competitiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Ability to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement in vessel operations.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field
  • (4+) years professional experience
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
