Job Description
We're looking for a detail-driven Accounts Payable Specialist with 3–5 years of hands-on experience. Ideally, this candidate will bring familiarity with Expensify, Continia, and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central to the table—as those are strong assets for streamlining our AP processes.
Your daily impact as an Accounts Payable Specialist
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests with accuracy and efficiency.
- Execute payments via checks, ACH, wire transfers, and reimbursement platforms.
- Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment inquiries.
- Maintain well-organized vendor files and ensure documentation is audit-ready.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, providing necessary AP support and reporting.
- Generate AP summaries and reports to support cash flow management and budget planning.
- Actively contribute to process improvements within the AP workflow (e.g., automation or system optimization).
Your experience and expertise
- 3–5 years of AP or general accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office (especially Excel) and strong numerical accuracy.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills—can liaise effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Experience in ERP or invoicing platforms is expected; familiarity with Expensify, Continia, and Business Central is particularly valuable.

For candidates in California, Colorado, and New York City, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, and Massachusetts the Targeted Base Salary Range for this role is $60,000 to $80,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to work experience, specialized skills and training, performance in role, business needs, and job requirements.
