Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and deployment of automation solutions for semiconductor backend processes.- Support hardware integration projects involving robotics, sensors, PLCs, and other factory equipment.- Develop and maintain automation software using scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, or Java).- Implement and troubleshoot equipment communication protocols such as REST APIs, SECS/GEM, Modbus, and other industrial standards.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process, equipment, and IT engineers to ensure seamless automation deployment.- Participate in system testing, debugging, and documentation of automation solutions.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field.- Strong interest in factory automation, hardware-software integration, and industrial communication protocols.- Basic programming skills in any language (Python, C#, Java, etc.).- Familiarity or hands-on experience with REST APIs, SECS/GEM, Modbus, or other communication protocols is a strong advantage.- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.More information about NXP in Malaysia...#LI-633a
