We are pleased to announce the immediate need for a Senior Military Operations Analyst who will join our 100th Missile Defense Brigade Operations and Logistics Support team in Colorado Springs, CO and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control market spaces. You will be part of a team providing key technical support for Operations and Logistics Support services for the 100th Missile Defense Brigade and subordinate units.
Responsibilities:
You will be working as part of the Operations and Logistics Support team for the 100th Missile Defense Brigade and responsible for providing staff level operations support, missile defense operations support, training and evaluation program support, logistics inputs, and anti-terrorism and force protection involvement in support of a critical Homeland Defense mission.The Senior Operations Analyst provides leadership and is the overarching general specialist with considerably more knowledge than the entry and mid-level military operations analyst.
The operations analyst is a key enabler with the BDE and Bn operations and logistics staff, collaborates with key stakeholders to include USNORTHCOM, USASMDC, Garrison Ft. Greely, and the Army National Guard. Provides support for missile defense and critical site security operational tasks to include battle rhythm events, synchronization meetings, planning key milestones, develops briefings and reports, and shapes training and exercise supporting documents. The operations analyst proposes innovative approaches to technical problems; develops requirements documents and concept of operations documents; develops operations manuals; conducts site surveys, writes after action reports; participates in meetings and telephone conferences with customers; writes meetings summaries, progress reports, information and position papers.The operations analyst prepares briefings and reports; conducts presentations; conducts analysis; develops work plans, schedules, and budget estimates; attends conferences and exchanges technical data, and provides general scientific, engineering and technical assistance.
Basic Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree and/or 15+ years of operational experience.
- Missile Defense experience in GMD with a T3 ASI.
- You must possess or can obtain an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position.
Lacking any one of these disqualifies you from this job.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Staff Officer experience at BDE or higher levels.
- Knowledge and experience of GMD mission area, crew experience, and joint exercise planning experience.
- Capability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to lead a task, project or team while requiring minimal guidance and direction from more senior level staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
