Overview
CGL is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. This role emphasizes strong HVAC expertise, along with general building maintenance knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage maintenance staff, including hiring, firing, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other facility systems.
- Oversee renovations and new construction under the Facility Manager's guidance.
- Maintain communication with clients and ensure timely project completion.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to maintenance activities.
- Respond to after-hours emergency calls as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; advanced training in building maintenance preferred.
- 4-6 years of building maintenance experience; 2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance.
- Ability to read blueprints and as-built drawings.
- Valid driver's license and insurance required.
- Must be physically capable of performing the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
