is seeking a strategic and experienced
Human Resources
Manager
with a strong focus on labor relations to join our team. This is a leadership-focused role where you will be instrumental in developing and executing our labor strategy while overseeing a variety of key HR functions. You'll be a trusted partner to leaders and a key player in ensuring our workplace culture remains vibrant and compliant.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the Labor Relations Strategy: Develop and execute the company's labor relations strategy, including collective bargaining, contract administration, and building proactive, positive relationships with union representatives.
- Provide Expert Guidance: Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for management and HR business partners on complex employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Drive Strategic Initiatives: Partner with senior leadership to conduct internal investigations, analyze data for risk mitigation, and develop action plans to improve the overall employee experience.
- Oversee Key HR Functions: Guide and mentor HR business partners on best practices and manage core HR responsibilities like performance review cycles and employee engagement programs.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure all labor-related policies and practices are in full compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA).
What You'll Need to Succeed
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a significant portion of that time dedicated to labor relations within Mexico.
- Proven experience leading a team or complex projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in collective bargaining agreement negotiation and administration.
- Strong understanding of federal and state labor laws, particularly the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to analyze data and trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
