How You Contribute to Pinnacle Transplant’s Success
The Quality Control (QC) Supervisor is responsible for ensuring human tissue allograft products meet safety, traceability, and product specifications. S/he supervises and coordinates the work of the team that is responsible for inspection, irradiation, labeling and final packaging of donated human tissue allografts. Work hours: Tuesday - Friday; 5:00 am - 3:00 pm (position has flexibility in the weekly scheduled days, but is required to have flexible weekend coverage to support a 7-day team/process)

Pay Rate:
$65,000 - $78,000, dependent on experience
What You Will Do
- Supervise the flow of allograft inspection, irradiation, site label printing and final packaging activities. Assign and participate in work assignments, to ensure departmental achievement of business production and packaging plan.
- Ensure adequate department staffing to meet the needs of the business.
- Recommend, implement, and support continuous improvement within the department and the company to improve associate performance, quality control, productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Oversee assigned continuously monitored tissue storage locations. Develop response plan for unit alarms.
- Review and approve invoices from vendors as directed by department leaders.
- Participate in the generation of and attainment of department goals. Keep Quality Management informed of work progress and issues.
- Investigate customer complaints, internal nonconformances, and CAPA(s) as they pertain to department responsibilities. Establish corrective actions when appropriate.
- Draft, revise, and approve Standard Operating Procedures in response to operational changes, corrective actions or content improvement.
- Collect, Interpret and Report data used in monthly reports or as needed.
- Promote and maintain complete and accurate records. Ensure all required signatures, time entries, and data points are properly recorded.
- Lead new hire training in work and safety procedures as required by PTT SOPs. Provide ongoing and refresher training as needed.
- Supervise and mentor direct reports, inclusive of the selection and development of area shift leaders. Perform evaluations of associate performance.
- Comply with FDA, AATB, OSHA, Good Tissue Practice (GTP) and state rules and regulations as they apply to Pinnacle Transplant Technologies’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Other duties as defined by Quality Management and/or PTT leadership.
What Qualifications You Will Bring
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in quality systems – biologics, medical device, or healthcare manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others through change.
- 1+ years previous Supervisory experience is preferred.
- High School graduate with associates degree preferred

- Quality and Regulatory teams regarding compliance concerns, issue resolution or other communications that provide an effective forum for ensuring a compliant environment for our staff as well as any relevant member or department of Pinnacle.
