Communications Leader, you’ll lead the charge in designing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy that reaches both internal and external audiences.   • Inspire our team through engaging internal communications across newsletters, blogs, videos, and GreenSpace.
  • Lead change by supporting large-scale initiatives with thoughtful messaging and inclusive content.
  • Build our brand through media relations, press releases, and public-facing storytelling.
  • Showcase impact by curating client success stories that highlight the heart of our mission.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with organizational goals.

You Have:

  • A strategic mindset with a passion for inclusive, human-centered storytelling.
  • Strong expertise in internal communication, media relations, and public relations. 
  • 5–10 years of experience in corporate communications, media relations, and/or internal communications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
  • Proven strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Proficient expertise with Microsoft Office products.
  • Experience with managing communication platforms and tools such as intranets and email tools.
  • Bonus – proficiency using video editing software and collaboration tools such as MURAL, Canva, etc.

The Day to Day:Internal Communications

  • Design and implement internal communications programs that engage, inform, and inspire employees.
  • Manage internal communication channels, including GreenSpace, newsletters, blogs, and video content.
  • Collaborate with leadership and departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead communication efforts for large-scale internal initiatives and change management projects.
  • Develop and maintain an editorial calendar for internal content, including employee spotlights and departmental updates.
  • Create inclusive, on-demand content that reflects GreenPath’s values, including empathy, Human-Centered Design, and IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access).
  • Monitor and analyze feedback and engagement metrics to continuously improve internal communications.

Media Relations & Public Relations

  • Lead PR and media relations strategies, including press releases, media pitches, and dynamic web content.
  • Coordinate media interviews, press events, and vendor relationships.
  • Manage the creation and distribution of the Annual Report (and other publications as necessary).
  • Maintain metrics and reporting on media and PR effectiveness.
  • Represent the organization in external communications and serve as a spokesperson when needed.

Client Testimonials & Brand Storytelling

  • Curate and promote client success stories across internal and external platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing and service teams to identify and develop compelling testimonials.
  • Integrate client stories into campaigns, presentations, and reports to highlight impact and build brand trust with prospects and partners.
