About Our Search
We are looking for Architectural Designer (Multiple Positions) with excellent communication, design, graphic and visualization skills. This individual will work with the project teams throughout the design process to successfully execute architectural projects.
DUTIES
:
- Contributes to project’s design efforts and REVIT documentation during all phases of project work, in close collaboration with Project Architect and Project Manager.
- Seeks creative and innovative solutions to assigned tasks and develops appropriate research and documents to support these solutions.
- Contributes to the preparation of design documents and detailed development of construction documents during all project phases.
- Advances the production of schematic, design development and construction documents in compliance with project scope, schedule, cost and design intent.
- Maintains awareness of evolving building technology and systems.
- Assists with visualization and presentations for clients during all project phases.
- Perform construction administration by assisting project managers/architects with responses to contractor submittals/RFIs.
REQUIREMENTS
:
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Architecture, or a closely related technical field. Demonstrated ability, by way of a portfolio, to create and develop high-end designs. Position also requires demonstrated knowledge of the following:
- REVIT
- Visualizations programs, such as Adobe Photoshop, Enscape, Rhino, Sketchup, and/or Lumion
Telework
: Telework permitted with manager’s approval for up to two days per week.

Maryland Statement
The projected base salary for this full-time position is $75,000 - $98,000. Hord Coplan Macht’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, as well as the individual’s education, experience, and skillsets. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of HCM’s total compensation package for employees.
