We are actively seeking to hire highly skilled professionals to meet our growing demand and join our expanding team(s).We currently have an opening for Inside Sales Representative in our Vanguard facility, located in Huntington Beach, CA. This position is critical to the success of achieving our ambitious growth objectives. The candidate must be comfortable making phone and email contact, working with channel partners, generating interest, responding to requests for quotes (RFQ) and qualifying prospects and ultimately closing sales.
The candidate will be a liaison (for sales) between the company and the customer, and will be reporting directly to Chris Vinson, Director of Sales. The ideal candidate for this position should be customer service driven, organized, detail oriented, have a positive “can do” attitude, with a built-in sense of urgency that innately pushes them to do their best every day.
Details of the Role:
The position of Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for fostering and maintaining strong relationships with our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding Vanguard products and provide information and service for RFQ's, purchase orders, and delivery
- Builds customer rapport and strengthens customer - supplier relationships
- Maintains CRM database with accurate information
- Coordinates the order status by working with various internal departments and the customer
- Responsible for providing customer service
- Fluent in Microsoft Office (Excel / Outlook / Word / PowerPoint)
- Assures compliance with ITAR and all other laws and regulations pertaining to Vanguard sales
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound phone calls and emails
- Understand customer needs and requirements
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Maintain and expand the database of prospects
- Perform effective online presentations/demos to prospects
- Support Sales Managers where needed
Qualifying Attributes and Skills
- Representative's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Proficient – MS Office and CRM software.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics. Exhibits a result-oriented work ethic, and a team player attitude.
