Join our innovative application development team as a Senior Shopify Developer, where you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our Shopify Websites. We are seeking an individual with a strong background in Shopify’s Liquid framework, custom Shopify App development, and general web development. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience developing, customizing, and optimizing Shopify stores, along with building and maintaining custom Shopify Apps to extend platform functionality.

About You


  • Detail-oriented developer with 5–7 years of professional software development experience.
  • 3+ years working specifically with Shopify, with strong expertise in Liquid.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Passionate about staying up to date with Shopify platform updates, emerging technologies, and e-commerce best practices.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience developing custom Shopify apps (using Shopify API, Node.js, or similar frameworks).
  • Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles.
  • Experience customizing Shopify themes and building custom sections/templates.
  • Understanding of e-commerce best practices, SEO fundamentals, and site performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with Shopify’s APIs, webhooks, and app integrations.
  • Preferred: experience with Git version control, Shopify Plus, headless commerce, and UX/UI collaboration tools (e.g., Figma).

Responsibilities


  • Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, GraphQL, and Rust.
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify apps and Shopify Functions (public and private).
  • Implement custom features and functionality based on business requirements.
  • Optimize Shopify stores for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing Shopify codebases and apps.
  • Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and custom functionalities into Shopify.
