So, what’s the role all about?


As an Associate Software Engineer in Test, you’ll focus on building automated test suites using Playwright to ensure the quality of our React-based front-end application. You’ll also begin contributing to feature development, gaining hands-on experience with modern UI technologies.This role offers a great opportunity to grow your skills in both testing and development while working closely with engineers and stakeholders to support release readiness and drive continuous improvement.

Our test automation is powered by Playwright, enabling fast, reliable, and scalable testing across modern browsers.As part of this team, you’ll be working in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on new feature development, continuous improvement, and collaboration.

How will you make an impact?


  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects early in the development cycle.
  • Contribute to the development of new features in our React-based front-end application, gaining hands-on coding experience.
  • Help improve test coverage and reliability across browsers and user scenarios.
  • Participate in code reviews and sprint planning to advocate for quality and testability.
  • Support release readiness by validating new features and ensuring smooth deployments.
  • Share ideas and best practices to continuously improve testing strategies and team workflows.
  • Grow into a full-stack contributor by learning from experienced engineers and expanding your development skills.

Have you got what it takes?


  • 1 - 2 years of experience as software engineer or automation QA
  • Playwright or similar test automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium)
  • JavaScript/TypeScript for both testing and development
  • React or other modern front-end frameworks
  • Git and version control best practices
  • CI/CD pipelines and release automation
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
  • Debugging and troubleshooting across browsers
  • Collaborating in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Thorough understanding of the following types of testing: Functional, Usability, Load, Stress, Integration, Data validation, Performance, Automated testing and Regression
