JOB PURPOSE:


 The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of Account Executives focused on small to midsize business (SMB) sales. This role drives high-volume, hunter-only sales activities, ensuring the achievement of sales objectives and revenue growth. The Sales Manager will work from the El Paso, TX office five days a week and must reside in El Paso. Bilingual candidates are preferred.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Lead and manage a team of Account Executives to achieve sales targets through new business acquisition.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow market share within the SMB segment.
  • Drive prospecting efforts through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
  • Train, mentor, and support Account Executives to optimize sales performance.
  • Monitor sales activities and ensure accurate pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Assist in market expansion planning and execution.
  • Work with Account Executives to identify and prioritize target accounts.
  • Conduct regular field sales visits with Account Executives to coach and support closing efforts.
  • Maintain knowledge of company services, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
  • Prepare necessary reports, including sales forecasts and performance reviews.
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation within the company's CRM system.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Highly organized and analytical, with the ability to overcome sales obstacles through creative approaches.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of sales management or relevant experience in a high-volume sales environment.
  • Proven track record of leading a successful sales team in a hunter-focused role.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus.
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
