The Role:
We’re looking for a vital Social Video Editor to join our team and take charge of crafting dynamic video content for social media. This role requires a keen eye for trends and the ability to create both high-end polished videos and quick, low-fi edits that resonate with audiences. You’ll work closely with the social team to bring ideas to life, ensuring every video is engaging, on-brand, and tailored for maximum impact across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
You should be comfortable handling fast turnarounds, adapting to evolving social trends, and working with a variety of raw footage styles.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in video editing, ideally 2+ years working with social media content.
- Strong proficiency with editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Solid understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube) and what works best on each.
- Ability to create fast-paced, engaging videos optimised for mobile viewing.
- Good sense of timing, storytelling, and visual style.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate with a creative team and take feedback constructively.
- Knowledge of current social media trends and video formats.
