Full-timeDescriptionThe Sales Manager for the coating facility plays a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding market share for TurbineAero’s’ specialized coating solutions within the aerospace and industrial gas turbine markets. This role demands strong sales leadership, technical expertise in coatings, and a proven ability to build and maintain existing and new customer relationships.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and implement strategic sales plans, and expand the company's presence within the aerospace, industrial gas turbine, and other relevant markets.
- Technical Expertise & Support: Provide in-depth technical knowledge and support to clients ensuring they understand the benefits and applications of coating systems (e.g. thermal barrier coatings, FIC, vacuum plasma, diffused precious metal/aluminide coatings).
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients, addressing inquiries, providing technical support, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets, analyze sales data, monitor market trends and competitor activities, and identify opportunities and threats.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including engineering, operations/production and quality, to stay abreast of technological advancements, communicate customer feedback, and ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to inform strategic decision-making and track progress against goals.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of coating processes, materials, applications, and relevant industry standards (e.g., FAA regulations for aerospace applications).
- Sales Acumen: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills; strong relationship- building abilities.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies, analyze market trends, and identify new business opportunities.
- Leadership (if applicable): Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer challenges and offer tailored solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in high-performance industrial coatings or a related field within the aerospace or industrial sectors.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong background in B2B sales and experience managing key accounts.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, enabling effective management of multiple tasks and priorities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset
